The building is located in the South part of Korneuburg, Austria. At two sides the corner property is bordered by public streets, a green zone separates it from the nearby train tracks.
The residential building contains 11 apartments and is built in open construction. Due to the lack of a basement, each apartment has a storage room on the ground floor. The east part of the building projects over the ground floor and creates a roofed entrance.
Two opposing staircases enable the vertical access. The stairs separate the building lengthwise into two parts. Because of the clever positioning of the rooms as well as the load-bearing structure all living/dining rooms are facing South, the bedrooms are facing North.
The ground floor is made from reinforced concrete, on the upper floors a timber construction acts as the load-bearing structure.
