LH Residence is the result of a meticulous design process aimed at creating a living space that goes beyond functionality to become a true sanctuary. Located in Cumbayá, this single-family home stands as an example of how architecture can enhance the quality of life of its inhabitants.
The project was developed on a site with unique characteristics, which required a creative spatial solution. By opting for a longitudinal layout, the design maximized space utilization while creating a sense of openness and continuity.
One of the most distinctive features of the residence is its movable façade—an innovative solution that brings dynamism and versatility to the design. This façade not only serves a practical function, such as regulating light and ensuring privacy, but also becomes an aesthetic element that transforms the home's appearance throughout the day.
Connection with nature was a fundamental aspect of the project. The integration of both indoor and outdoor gardens not only enhances the surroundings but also improves indoor air quality and fosters a healthier, more relaxing environment. The indoor garden, in particular, becomes the heart of the home, providing natural light and serving as a transitional space between different areas.
The selection of materials was carefully considered to achieve a balance between aesthetics and functionality. Exposed aggregate concrete, travertine, and wood combine to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. These natural materials not only provide beauty and durability but also contribute to a healthier and more sustainable environment.
