PROJECT´S DESCRIPTION
House with concrete structure and details in steel was implanted in a flat urban terrain. The round collum structure with round pillars sustains a concrete slab permitting the free integration with the external garden, with minimum visual interference.
The bedrooms are in the upper level and are linked by a cascade concrete stair and wooden floor. The visual protection is obtained by the existence of a long wooden frame that crosses the whole façade of the house. The balcony of the penthouse shelters the office, the winery and the family room, and opens to a view of the tops of centenary trees that surround the Ibirapuera Park. The materials used are traditional and natural. The external mass was texturized in rustic way and the columns are of apparent concrete. The floors, thresholds, and sills are made of travertine marble. The frames stair steps and rooms floors are made of wood. The carpentry was projected by the office and the interior design uses neutral and natural tones.
