Today's new work dynamics necessitate the emergence of new workspaces that respond to their needs. Open, dynamic, adaptable, and ever-changing spaces that seek a sense of domesticity and warmth through materials that establish spatial continuity and a representative image, serving as a foundation to welcome any user in a building intended for business office space rentals.
A compact volume is situated within an industrial environment, relating to it through a skin of aluminum slats and large, wood-framed windows that offer controlled and carefully considered views of the distant landscape.
The spatial quality of the basements becomes a primary objective of the project. The workspaces expand into and occupy this space, transforming what is typically a residual, merely functional area into a carefully designed work environment. A series of openings and courtyards organize and define the interior spaces, bringing light, reflections, and cross-views of the sky and the exterior to each workstation.
