– A House in the Green – As part of a generational change, the former production hall was replaced by a new building. The design of the residential house follows the dimensions of the former industrial structure and blends harmoniously with both the neighborhood and the lush tree population. Only the staircase is attached to the south side of the three-story building volume.
The residential house features a restrained yet confident façade that integrates seamlessly into the existing typology of the surroundings. The choice of materials is simple, yet it leaves room for attention to detail – wood and concrete meet in harmony. The base floor, made of exposed concrete, and the attached stair core emphasize the functional use of the building. The two residential floors are clad in structured wooden panels with a green glaze, allowing the building to blend harmoniously into its natural setting and become an organic part of the environment.
