"This important sports facility at the ""Cittadella dello sport"" in Gemona is used by both the University of Motor Sciences and Atletica Gemonese for competitive activities.
Inaugurated in 2011 in the presence of South African Paralympic champion Oscar Pistorius, it was built with prefabricated Sportrack Mondo mats. The intervention further improved the facility by resurfacing the track with a ""sandwich"" system with a seeded finish. The track's color is reminiscent of the traditional ""burnt earth"" shade."
