Renovation of a beautiful early 20th-century building (1920) of 319m2 with ceilings of 3.30 meters in almost the entire house. With the intervention, we aimed to preserve most of the building's original elements, enhancing their value. We rethought the distribution and adapted it to more contemporary uses.
Our intention was to create more open spaces and link areas with compatible uses. We created a very open and spacious entrance hall in contact with the living room and dining room. The kitchen, by Artificio, features a large square island as its central element. The appliances are from the Gaggenau brand. The living-dining room has an area of 50m, and next to the kitchen, we have organized an office area or additional dining area of another 30m.
Right at the entrance, there's a storage area made with recovered original wardrobe doors. One of these doors leads to the laundry area.
Adjacent to the kitchen in the central part of the house and with direct access from the entrance, there is a bright, open multi-functional space with a toilet and shower, which can function as an office or guest room.
At the back of the house, there's a large living room that serves as a distributor for the three bedrooms we created in that area. The master bedroom has an independent dressing room and is connected to a bathroom made with Mortex featuring a built-in bathtub and double rain shower. The other two bedrooms also have en-suite bathrooms.
The original melis pine wood of the floors was restored in areas where it was possible. Throughout the house, moldings (on ceilings and walls), doors, and beautiful old elements that recover the original character of the house such as radiators and pressure valves were restored.
The property has a live-in concierge from Monday to Friday and a beautiful entrance with an elevator and finishes typical of the building's era, in good condition.
