Musée de la Civilisation de Québec, balloon sculpture in the entrance hall.crossed glances. crossroads. rendez-vous. fusion. confusion. fly. veil. unveil. reveal. see. catch a glimpse. float. tie. untie. entwine. surrounded spaces. arrowed spaces. assomption sash. these flaming frescos which go through the museum’s grand hall create opportunities of meeting and exchanging. the guests, adorned with a balloon each, stroll through these weavings: they contribute to the sculpture by taking part in theexperience of dressing the space. the superposition of frescos and people in the space amplify its liveliness as well as the artistic effect. this expressive architectural setting tends to generate perspective games, human gatherings at the crossroads, an authentic network, a stimulation of the senses and unique meetings. gazes. discussions. sounds. contacts. colors. an experience to live.
