The Romea Theater of Murcia reopened its doors on March 3, 2012 after being closed for several years for renovations. They have sought to convert a historic building, which this October turns 150, into a space adapted to the needs of the 21st century. Thus, it will once again host all kinds of cultural events, essential in the city. And it does so completely renovated, improving aspects such as accessibility, facilities and user comfort without forgetting, at all times, the fundamental premises of respect and honesty with the original design of the building. The multiple representations that take place in the theater modernize and adapt it to the new times and allow the city of Murcia to recover one of its most representative buildings, a place of reference for Murcians and visitors and the main cultural emblem of the city.
