The conservation status of the entire structure was subject to an in-depth study that defined pathologies and repair procedures. To summarize, the structures did not present serious problems that would impede their use and after the demolition of all the unusable or unreclaimable parts, and necessary repairs to damage caused by its previous use, they would be suitable for the current use.
These are buildings with large proportions, rectangular floor plans and barrel-vaulted roofs. They housed a series of furnaces with annexed facilities and a pyrite store, in which sulphuric acid was produced by roasting pyrite.
Thanks to its construction, aesthetic and volumetric qualities, as well as its spatial configuration, this is a magnificent example of industrial architecture.
