This house was ancient lived from three families, and was divided in small apartments. We joined the apartments to make a single house, composed by different levels, recovering ancient vaulted roofs , reformulating interior and exterior spaces.
By using local materials like stone for the floors and for the frames of windows, we try to create a contrast between the weight of the stone and the transparecy of the glass stair.
A different manufacturing of the floor stone, mark the line between interior and exterior, mixed to ancient elements like stone wash, or like the ancient kitchen still working.
