My first opportunity to apply my ideas about connecting dance and architecture.  Inspired by an understanding of movement rooted in Rudolf von Laban, refuge is a place where expansion=relaxation is possible, as opposed to the contraction=protection we experience in the everyday world.  This was only a week long project - short, intense, and fun!
