Situated on a long and narrow plot, the bungalow in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad is spread over the area of 25000 sq.ft. The facade of the structure is a in a series of vertical and horizontal stripes that help in breaking the monotony. Rough stone and Corian used for the exterior lend a modern touch. The double height space at the entrance immediately creates a sense of awe and mystery as it reveals only glimpses of the house within. The large windows further enhance the space. Since minimalism was the preferred design tone, the seating areas are devoid of any accessories and muted tones of beige and brown have been used against marble flooring. The pool is at the second level with pergolas and a skylight above. Skylights and large windows are key features of the house as the focus of the design was to draw in natural light. The bedrooms all have a similar tone but are distinct from each other.
