The project was the importance of return to past glories the centrality and importance of cinema in modern society. We thought of a simple type of intervention with regard to the design of new structures, but with a great symbolic value, not to mention the simplicity and functionality of the new project. The project involves the construction of an outer skin that wraps around the building making it much more visible to those passing by.
The façade, main core of the project, is a mobile front. Is not only able to quit completely or to provide light, thanks to its qualities of mobility, but also has the ability to change color.
The colors chosen for the 2 front modules following project features: the red module stands for passion, love, the heart of cinema. The other module represents all types of cinema that has inside it, like the white color contains all kinds of colors.
The Pushkinsky cinema will be ,once again, the focal and symbolic point about cinema, making it the beginning of a transformation that will lead to the reassertion of cinema in 21st century society, creating a new symbolic place for the city: the Red Square of Cinema.
