The beacon of "RED HORSE" is placed on the cape "Worang point" and serves as a reference point to the ships entering the bay "Twofold bay".
The space of a beacon is divided into 2 zones:
1. Technical zone.
It is intended for service of a beacon and control of the navigation and lighting equipment.
It consists from:
a) Underground rooms with the diesel generator.
b) The ladder conducting to the room of lighting fixtures.
The ladder is equipped with the lifting device facilitating rise.
c) Room of the lighting fixture
2. Public zone
It is opened for free visit because it isn't crossed with technical rooms.
It consists from:
a) The ladder observing to the platform. The ladder is equipped with the lifting device to the disabled people and elderly people facilitating rise.
b) The observation platform located in the portal.
c) The portal - the rectangular shape opened from two parties.
The beacon of "RED HORSE" is designed to serve as a local place of interest.
In good weather from it the view of all bay "Twofold bay" will open.
In bad weather itself can tickle nerves, being above storming waves.
The beacon will become an attraction point around which campings and zones of a barbecue will grow.
The beacon is well visible from coast of "Twofold bay" and reminds the red horse entering water. Therefore it is called "RED HORSE".
