We had a problem as much as possible interestingly and effectively to think over spaces for the future offices and workshops of 12 structures of Design Factory "FLACON". And the decision should be budgetary.From the very beginning of work on the project we tried to estimate possible potential of a building and adjoining territory for the subsequent use. Therefore we have come to a determination about necessity of transformation of space round 12 structures. We have developed the decision for the territory adjoining to a back facade, have placed the area before a building. Within the area have provided gardening, have placed zones for rest and playing sports, a children's playground, a parking for bicycles, a sculptural composition. The area is located on 30 sm above earth level, therefore we have thought over ramps for people with the limited possibilities and bicyclists, and for possibility of an entrance of fire-engines directly to a building. We have provided the device of a land parking (on 89 cars, from which 3 places for drivers with the limited possibilities, and also 16 places for motor scooters).In a building we tried to use as much as possible its internal reserve for creation of the working areas. For this purpose erection антресольных floors is provided. So we managed to increase the internal area of a building from 2 300 sq. m. (at present) to 3500 sq. m.From which: - 2070 sq. m. of office space - 1150 sq. m. of public space (including аудиториум and a terrace on a roof)- 170 sq. m. under damp zones- 150 sq. m. of administrative officesIn the course of work we have come to a determination conditionally to divide 12 structure into 2 parts:- AdministrativeIn an administrative part we have placed the main hall, offices for employees of design factory, and also big auditorium with exit possibility on a roof.- The Zone under offices, workshops and show-roomsThe zone under offices and workshops has a separate front entrance (from a back facade), turned on the area, and also 3 inputs and one collar for lorry arrival (from the main facade).In the course of work, we tried to use the materials given by sponsors actively:- Systems of office partitions Nayada- Carpet covering InterfaceFlor - Furniture Vitra - Fixtures Fagerhult (on sketches are used in all premises, except those places where their use is impossible for technical reasons)- Mattresses Smart BallsAs the decision for facades, we assume to use a gradient (from a brick to white), focused on insolation of place (a brick in the north and white in the south), thus we simulate natural processes, forcing a building to seem «burnt out on the sun».
