STAGNANT LIVING IN A MUTATING CITY [SLUM LIVING] After 300 years operating as a port, The Sunda Kelapa Harbour; the magnificent image + the beauty of form as well as the activities carried out lay still-as it was hudreds of years ago. Symbolically, it represents a starting point of a civilization that shaped the culture + history, specifically Jakarta but contradictory; the proposed site development is in a state of slum .Nevertheless, within the constraints of stagnancy of the city,lies a great strength, a potential in revitalising + rejuvenating to enrich the existing in establishing a cultural tourism city.
