The newest signature restaurant at Rivers Casino, RC Supply Co. reimagines a former buffet into an upscale yet approachable dining destination. The concept blends locally inspired flavors, curated cocktails, and premium Chicago brews with a design that celebrates warmth, craft, and connection.
Guests arrive from the gaming floor through a metal-mesh curtain, stepping into a cozy bar lounge softly illuminated by a glowing golden skylight. This welcoming space transitions into the main dining room, where white pendant globes suspend from a wooden canopy, casting an intimate, ambient light. The dining experience is bookended by custom art walls crafted from repurposed kitchenware, furniture, and fixtures—a tactile expression of the brand’s story and its respect for resourceful upcycling.
Behind one art wall, a private dining room doubles as an extension of both the restaurant and the VIP Lounge, defined by velvet curtains, a fireplace, and bands of black-and-white tile that bring contrast and sophistication.
Working within a tight budget, the design team transformed the 8,800-square-foot space into a flexible venue that balances efficiency and atmosphere. The strategic placement of the bar and kitchen supports seamless operations, while creative reuse of existing materials minimized waste and amplified the project’s authenticity. The result is a space that feels both elevated and grounded—a restaurant that honors Chicago’s spirit of craftsmanship and community.
