The cantilevers on the roof level stretch over a third of the façade’s length and increase the floor area by 140m2. A new element of the building is thereby created that conforms to the existing structure and grid. The individual lofts are determined by interior and external spaces that are complexly interlaced. These two-storey apartments provide a rather anonymous living situation on top of an existing office building. The bedrooms are located on the courtyard side and are shielded from the ambient noise by both a corridor as well as the offset. The living areas on the roof level have views in both directions and are supplemented by external southwest facing terraces located in wind-protected areas between the protruding cubes.
