Rafter house and the twisted truss is a two-story wooden ready-made house in the suburbs. Both of these two houses express their wooden structure but both in different ways. In addition, the walls for the bedrooms are made in the way that they could be taken out with ease for the future use.
By adding a short member at the top of the rafter we made the rafter into a truss at the top, it makes it possible to create a large span member that could make a clearstory for the living dining space alongside with individual high ceiling room. By exposing the rafter it gives space a unique character of its own.
