Strong cultural influences and references played a major part of the interiors and factored heavily when considering the lighting, from gem stone downlight arrangements through to huge illuminated crystal swath chandeliers. Lighting was used to enhance the architecture and enliven the numerous artefacts of the public areas.
For the restaurants, Rocca and Arola, the lighting evolves throughout the day which reflects and mimics the colourful exterior views.
