The Radisson Collection Sochi by Spectrum Architecture presents a coherent approach to interior architecture grounded in coastal context and spatial clarity. The design interprets the character of the Black Sea through abstraction, translating qualities such as lightness, fluidity, and tactility into a refined interior language.
Natural materials define the project’s core palette. Stone, timber, and soft-textured finishes establish continuity across all spaces, ensuring a unified visual and sensory identity. Rather than introducing contrast through excess, the design relies on subtle tonal variation and texture to create depth. This restraint reinforces a contemporary minimalism that prioritises atmosphere over ornament.
Spatial organisation plays a critical role. Public areas such as the lobby, bar, and restaurant connect through open planning strategies that encourage fluid movement and adaptability. Circulation becomes experiential, guiding users through gradual transitions in scale, light, and material. Each zone maintains its identity while contributing to a cohesive whole.
Lighting enhances this composition by softening surfaces and amplifying material qualities. Diffused illumination supports a calm and balanced environment, aligning with contemporary hospitality expectations.
