The residence is located in the municipality of Agios Athanasios, north of the city of Limassol, and covers the needs for permanent residence of a family of five.
With the fact of a large corner plot, with mild elevation differences and low building growth rates, the residence designed at the northeastern boundary of the plot, in order to left open the southwest corner of the plot for visual comfort and freedom of the building.
To reach maximum functionality and hold both the southern orientation and the northeastern part of the plot, the residence designed in a radial layout using as axes center the northern and the highest point of land.
The radial structure enables to locate a few areas northern (staircases, dining room and bathroom) and all other functional areas south and southeast.
The ground floor hosts the daily operations of the house and is divided into two distinct sub-volumes, one for the hospitality uses (living room, dining room) and to one for the daily uses (kitchen, daily living / dining room).
The first level hosts the bedrooms and the sanitary facilities of the residence. The three children's bedrooms are located in a rectangular prism that deviates from the general radial composition. The rectangular prism is founded and protrude over the volume of hosting uses, at the ground floor, and simultaneously penetrate the volume where is the master bedroom, on the first floor, and the daily uses, in the ground floor.
The facades of the building have significant differences and give a unique perspective of the building, depending on the angle from which the observer is viewing the building.
