LA NOUVELLE CHANCELLERIE DE BELGIQUE À RABAT AU MAROC

L’ambassade s’inscrit à l’angle de l’Avenue Akreuch et de la rue Mejjat. Le projet prévoit la démolition du batiment existant, comme conseillé dans le cahier des charges. Les éléments structurants ont clairement été définis dès le début, à savoir les accès depuis la rue Akreuch et la relation qu’entretien le projet avec la rue principale et le reste de son contexte.

Le concept est aussi axé sur la volonté de projeter un batiment « near 0 energy » et en matériaux réutilisables au maximum. Le terrain est très peu modifié, des terres sont uniquement évacuées au niveau des fondations, et replacées en partie afin de créer du relief dans le jardin de prestige.
