Descriptive Report
The site is located south of Mexico City , at the San Jeronimo - San Angel neighborhood.
The area is characterized by a volcanic stone floor and very resistant tepetate . Another feature is the narrow street that is developed with only 6 meters wide.
La Colonia Tizapán , used to be a traditional village south of the city , territorial expansion and densification of the population , the area is now part of Álvaro Obregón .
Being an area that is being integrated into the city, there is a variety in the type of construction of houses , condos, apartments , retail, office and multifamily buildings .
The special challenge was to design a building attractive enough for occupants with traditional touches that were not harmful to the neighborhood or the neighbors , which is not perceived as an imposition on the area, but as a pretext to improve the visual quality and provide added value of the area .
The building consists of basement, ground floor and five levels containing 40 apartments in total with 4 variants of distribution.
The apartments have 1 or 2 bedrooms, 1.5 or 2 bathrooms , living- dining room, kitchen and service yard .
The roof is designed as a green rooftop barbecue area , a combination of natural grass , pavers and deck plastimadera . All the rain water collected on the roof is collected , filtered and reused for irrigation and provisions wc .
GENERAL PROGRAM:
Basement: Parking for 30 cars , warehouses, planter , electrical transformer , tanks , pumps, lift and stairs .
Ground Floor: Parking for 15 cars , pedestrian access , reception room, lift and stairs.
First to fifth level : Condominium type , lobby , elevator and stairs.
Roof Garden : Green roof , grills, restrooms , elevator and stairs.
Roof: Water tanks , gas tanks , satellite television master antenna .
