This office interior had been an experience to work with. The thought process goes on to indicate the spiritual beliefs of this land in a very modern sensibility. The philosophy is that, Energy can neither be destroyed nor be created. The universe is existentially and eternally filled with energy that is formed and unformed i.e. manifested and unmanifested. So when that unmanifested energy starts interacting, vibrating and starts evolving over time, it starts manifesting into life. SO life is manifested energy of this universe. And this manifested energy has found more and more forms of self expression in form of landforms, forests, civilization, urbanism and society.
Since this company deals with human resource, and humans are a form of manifested energy, this philosophical framework became the concept for the design. The swirling false ceiling design, the waves and the concentric rings represent the interaction and the evolution of life. And they gradually become the hemispheres, the manifested energy. The expressions of life and its forms is seen in the open office with people made to feel as working in a lawn with the urban silhouette at the backdrop. The flooring colours represent a gradual transition from the sandy beaches of the reception Italian marble and the blue sea carpet of the conference room to the lawn vinyl flooring of the open office. The transition is symbolically represented with the wooden flooring “bridge”passage from the reception to the open office . It is in this passage where the interview rooms with the yellow tinted glass being located to show that these spaces are detrimental in whether the human resource is in or out. The M.D. cabins represent a sense of warmth that a home gives to a human being. The false ceiling strips of light represent the order and chaos that happen in the respective spaces.
Interestingly there is also a event management company called STUDIO-E which resides as a separate room in this office with the ambience of a studio room. Black painted ceiling with surface mounted lights and a red column in the center of it becoming a center piece.
The bathrooms have an ambience of roman baths. The whole office has layers of interwoven meanings in terms of location of the rooms, the meaning given to it and hence the choice of materials used. Led lightings and Saint gobain green building Et glass used on the west to cut out the western radiation along with phifer brand recyclable material screens.
