The Quai des savoirs, a modulable, technological centre, is the guiding thread of the Quartier des Sciences science district, where both international researchers and children can drop anchor long enough for a meeting, arousing the call for adventure that is university research.
A minimalist architectural has been chosen for an emblematic building that is resolutely contemporary and sustainable: a "signal box". The indoors-outdoors continuity is asserted so as to extend the exhibition spaces beyond the walls and reach out to the public.
