Darron Eco-Tech Park is located in the core area of Qingdao National High-tech Industrial Development Zone and benefits from the area’s advantageous geographic position and traffic convenience. The campus is composed of four plots: the northern plots oversee the beautiful canal in the distance while the southern plots are adjacent to city expressways.

CLOU’s design tailors each plot to its geographical and functional characteristics. The northern two plots with scenic views are planned with small-scale, low- density and single-volume office complexes. The high-density office towers are situated at the southern plots to make use of the traffic convenience. Each plot benefits from privacy while still integrated to the greater masterplan by means of the central circulation. The circular central landscape belt acts as a central gathering place for the whole project, allowing opportunities for people, activities and ideas to mingle.

The design aims to create versatility and flexibility for a contemporary workplace, as well as delivering an integrated design solution which presents itself as a leading role model within the development.
