The Puen Chang Pakchong project is the Mechanical Power Tools store located along Mittraphap Superhighway Road, Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima. The building features a colorful simple stacked box design utilizing graphic tools on facade panels.
The stacked box consists of varying shapes and layers.The outer square layer displays random Tools Product advertising spaces around the facade, while the inner rectangular layer acts as the building skin; drawing outside interest to with its graphic paint designs. The layout contains three main interior functional spaces : Retail, Warehouse and Office. The retail area features an open first floor plan extend the length of structure. The warehouse space resides in rear of the building, connected to the service area. The office occupies the second floor for added privacy.
The architects emphasize design innovation and energy savings with the use of translucent and metal roof panels and to capture natural light, reducing daytime energy consumption. Siding aluminium wall panels increase airflow, naturally increasing space circulation.
