GKV Architects recently completed new office space for The Publishers Clearing House to help house their 400+ employee company. Headquartered in Port Washington New York, PCH has been a direct marketing company specializing in merchandise and magazine subscription since 1953. The project encompassed an interior fit-out that focused on reutilization. The air conditioning, some walls, pantry, and finishes were kept in their existing state while a few walls had to be taken down to fit the new design. To add a unique characteristic to PCH's office, each conferencing space is named after a neighborhood in New York City: The Village, Chelsea etc...they also portray numbers which follow the design of the signage for NYC's subway lines.
