The Acha Sva house is constructed with all local and recycled materials including local field stones, recycled hardwood timber, and handmade clay bricks. The form of the house was created by the fusion of Khmer vernacular raised housing and French colonial architecture. Keys are taken from both precedents in term of environmental features, social organizations, and materiality.
