Karuc is a small isolated village set on a Scadar lake in Montenegro. The platform on the lake is designed as a starting point of the visiting tour of the village. There is a possibility to reach the platform front by boats, and from there visitors can cross to the other side of the cove by pedestrian bridge. The small pavilion for fishermen is located at the entrance of the platform, where it is possible to rent fishing equipment or get information about fishermen’s needs. There is a belvedere on the roof of the facility, which does not have the direct approach from the platform, but through its interior. Pavilions, located on two opposite ends of the platform, have imposed the question of their mutual dialogue. The common characteristic is their separation from water surface. While the first one is tucked in the rocks, the second one sticks out on the water, but neither of them has the direct connection with the water surface. The purpose of observation towers, which appear directly next to the platform, is to route the view of an observer. The project is designed in a way that a visitor does not get obvious directives, but it is required from him to curiously explore the site.
