An example of the exciting changes shaping modern Moscow, we designed a 480,000 sq m (4,734,000 sq ft) mixed-use complex downtown. The first of several industrial sites the City is studying to convert to residential and commercial functions, Slava is located on Leningradsky Prospect. This major artery links Red Square to the suburbs and offers great visibility and a prime address for the planned development. Belorouskii Plaza train station, one of Moscow's major transportation hubs, is adjacent to the proposed project. The site covers three city blocks, including the existing 1st and 3rd Street Polia, and will be intersected by a new street. Five separate office buildings are proposed, varying in height from 6 to 22 storeys. They all share a common three-storey retail podium spanning over the existing and new streets. The total planned office area is 200,000 sq m (2,153,000 sq ft), joined by 60,000 sq m (645,800 sq ft) of upscale retail. Four levels of underground parking will accommodate 3,500.
