Project: House 8-House at the lake.
House 8-House at the lake is a project developed with the system Telescopic Modular Building.(www.nikolayivanov.net)
The house is divided in two volumes-one two-storey volume and one single storey volume, both with shed roof. The two volumes will be built from two modules with dimensions-3,60m/10,80m/3,30m and 3,60m/7,20m/3,30m (width/length/height). The modules will be extended and the building will have total area-232, 50m2, where 2/3 of the first storey of the two-storey volume will be open air space. The volumes are oriented to the south and the east. The ground floor area of the house is 186,80m2 and the first floor area is 45,70m2.
The rooms in the building could be divided in three groups day zone, night zone and gray zone. In the day zone are the following rooms: living room, dining room, kitchen. In the night zone are rooms like bedrooms , while in the gray zone are the rest: corridors ,stair and bathrooms.
In the exterior of the building are used materials like wood, white render and steel cover for the windows' areas. The facade is divided in large areas of wooden planking and white render, only the south and the east facade are open with large windows to the lake. Through this is achieved energy efficiency of the building.
In the interior are used finishes with different colors ,wooden parquet ,wooden planking and different types of tiles. The main hall is treated with mild gray paint and brick layer around the fireplace. In the kitchen are used tiles with large squares and dark wooden cabinets with bright wooden doors ,the walls are again neutral gray. The bathrooms are covered with laminate on the floor and mosaic tiles on the walls. The ceiling in the whole house is wooden, only the bathrooms have suspended ceiling. The bedrooms walls are covered with colorful paint and differ from one another.
Telescopic Modular Building saves time and money. With the system could be built different types of buildings, where steel skeleton is transported as a single module and extended on-site to a whole house.
