A convergence of territories and urban programs restructuring Dunkerque Pier 1 is at the junction of several urban and industrial landscapes evolving.The project envisages firstly to disconnect the pier of its territory in order to make the identity of an island, reinforcing the presence of water and its belonging to Dunkerque, a port city along the sea.The identity of components pier 1 - factories, warehouses, halls - are rehabilitated and released some building less significant.Light installations, «plugs» are then added to the logic of the industrial heritage.In front of a succession of landscapes and horizons moving the project site is in front of a new urban and industrial scene, dynamic and interactive, radiating over a wide area. Visible from the city center, this scene is animated by many communicating elements and fun, giving life to the site day and night.
