This is a concept for the private villa owned by Dr. Chee Wo Lui, the owner of K.Wah Group in Hong Kong. This is an existing building in Xinhui which we are designing the new facade and the outdoor and resting area for it. The facade was created with stripes of wood in different density to form the pattern. At the same time, with the gaps between the woods, sunshine can penetrate into the shading area to provide a natural lighting in the daytime. While forming up the facade, there are some exterior spaces created. We use those spaces as some resting area and relax space in order to enjoy the sunshine and chatting time with family.
