42,000 sq. ft. home designed to represent and comfortably fit into its natural surroundings. Built at the edge of a ravine cut by water runoff, the entire design is intended to represent the flow and movement of water, and also to reflect the carving of earth and the spaces that have been created over hundreds of years. Stairs resemble waterfalls, convex and concave roof surfaces resemble the river's ever-changing surface. A wide center hallways with random broken stone flooring imitates the river bed itself, and the walls and spaces opening off the hallway represent voids that have been carved into the earth at the river's banks.
