The two-story residence has been designed for a four-member family on a plot at the municipality of Melissia, close to the border with Kifissia. The building’s contours follow the elongated trapezium-shaped plot. The goal of the architectural composition was to create an atrium to the sides where the building touches the adjacent structures; an element that boosts family privacy in a varied semi-urban environment, while also funnels natural light in the house’s interior.
The residence is organised on two levels: a living room, dining roon, kitchen, office and a small WC comprise the ground floor, while the first floor contains the master bedroom with a private bathroom and dressing room, and two children’s bedrooms.
Simple lines and perfectly geometric volumes are combined with simple material in shades of white and anthracite.Part of the main facade and some smaller sections are lined with boards of walnut-coloured, african wood.
