Also in small towns where the problem of the building density it is not yet well known, the historic centers are surrounded and hidden behind an anonymous suburb without any identity.
Discover instead exhibit, is the design approach chosen to return dignity to roads scenes, become today a sort of vulgar catalog of horrors.
A fence of stones and perforated metal plate and dense vegetation, it is anything but camouflage but leaves hardly to glimpse into the building, partially emptied by a deep terrace garden melting with the green below.
The front door, also as perforated metal plate is hardly perceptible. Beyond all this you have the surprise, the internal volume is much larger than the external because the basement is recovered to the living space through a gash that cross three floors and extends the visual over the 'height of the building with a large skylight that the cut it along the entire length.
The basement becomes the main stay because the ground has been excavated in order to obtain a large courtyard, which also overlooks the large kitchen
The garden develop on two levels connected by an inclined land where grow aromatic plants, the scents garden.
As the roof also the back wall is cut for the whole height, to make perceptible the garden from any point of the interior space.
The gaze not forced by the narrow limits can perceive dimensions no longer detectable in the contemporary domestic architecture.
