This house was recently completed and felt very cold in atmosphere. All walls and ceilings were white. The desire for the whole house was to create a design for color, furniture and lighting in which the house would feel more ‘homy’.
There are no more white walls and the favorite color of the client comes back in many places, including on the wall in the staircase. Red is used here as an extra accent and added to both the wall and the back of the cabinet on the wall.
The living room has a large multi-purpose cabinet with a dining / work place. The old dining table is maintained and brings a different material (wood) in. The living room is better utilized and feels more spacious too.
