24-7 window blindsThe idea started with my dorm room window. The window faces the courtyard which led out to our painting and sculpture department. It did not allow for privacy as the everyday passer could see in. This became problematic in the spring time as people would lounge in the courtyard. It meant that those of us living on the floor level would always have to shut our window blinds. My goal was to eliminate the blind while maintaining the light and privacy.InteractionThe installation would allow for residents to engage with nature and still interact with those on the courtyard.Prism (Light & Colours)The reflection and refraction of light would help maintain privacy and allow different colours of light to fill the room, especially the red and purple colour. Also, it will reflect rainbow colour on the glass.
