This project is a comprehensive design of a residential desert property, including the complete reconsideration of an existing house and guest house as well as the added programs of a pool and pool house. Through the site design and material palette we tied the existing structures, new building, and outdoor living spaces together. A desert plant palette weaves throughout the property on a site that had been covered in turf and non-native plants. Custom doors and millwork in the various buildings share the wood from one rosewood tree. The salvaged brick used on the pool house and various hardscape elements reflects brick restored on the main house.
