Our proposal for a new building envelope is inspired by the shiny world of cinema.
The main goal of the architectural solution is the connection between the cinema and the adjacent park in the context of the existing urban environment in the city of Moscow.
In order to achieve this in the design process of the building’s envelope, certain methods of arranging the volumes have been used.
The architectural solution has been achieved by the interaction between pure large-scale volumes and smaller shapes of decorative character. Regarding the DuPont products, we have decided to use the brands Corian® and SentryGlas® due to their flexible qualities as well as the possibility to use them in different design forms. Moreover, thanks to the new generation of surface cover, we can realize the desired clear form of the sizes and architecture elements applied in the project.
