Emerging from a mere 400sf footprint, variable fenestration and louvered curtain panels orient the design to a site's environmental characteristics: sun, shade, wind direction and view. 3 prefab floor modules are stacked with their spiral-stair-stiffened steel frames. Insulated opaque, double-glazed and louver panels attach to the space frame construction as well as shelving, cabinetry, fixtures and conduits for plumbing, air and electric. The louvers - a sustainability feature - rotate, slide and stack to regulate fresh air flow, shade, wind screen, insulation, view and privacy. The ground level module's raised floor contains a conduit infrastructure and grid connectivity. Modules meet the special permit requirements for North American trucking and are shipped complete with conduits, appliances and cabinetry pre-installed.
