Hunt Hill Bridge is
the new powerful symbol
of Dallas.
In our opinion, an intellectual bond with the bridge should take place when
ever a solution is looked for any kind of problem related to the area.
Electric power plants are the indispensables for the cities.
In their absence, cities fall in to darkness and die.
Oncor is literally giving life to mankind with its energy, pumping the energy
to the city.
We can call Oncor a kind of heart..
When looking at the electronic
cardiogram
that represents the heart
beats we can see the pulses.
One of the pulses is strong, others are weaker.
We think Margaret Hunt Hill bridge is representing the strong heart beat of
Dallas, providing energy from OncorDallas' heart beats start here. .
Technical Description
The design is proposed for zone 2 of the project.
Instead of a mechanical and monotonous wall, our design is composed as a
structure which symbolizes the energetic heart beats of Dallas and
at the same time gives the feeling of an extension of the bridge.
The gaps which are representing the rhythmic elevations of the construction
will be covered with steel wiring.
The Hedera helix plant which will be planted on the area where the steel wires
will touch down to the ground will create a kind of live green curtain.
this green curtain will mask the Oncor power plants view.
But also the design will symbolize the energy flow from Oncor to the city with
heart pulses.
Bridge will be lightened through the night
The construction that blocks Oncor's view can be lightened with pulsed timing.
This can represent the pulsing view of the heart of Dallas.
