The project is situated in the center of Vienna, on a complex and multi-layered site. It is consited of 2 separate building complexes. One of them surrounds and defines the building site and, also by forming a typical Viennese inner-yard, integrates in the neighboring urban design concept. 3 different faculties are located in the 3 bounding sides of the building. The central building is freely designed and situated, containing all the mutual public functions of the university complex - library, shop, restaurant, auditorium, exhibition center, lecture halls etc. The roof is softly inclined, and accessible through staircases and ramps, creating a pleasent place for relaxing and studying. The 2 complexes are connected with sky bridges, and a multistory parking garage in the underground levels solves the problem with parking.
