The objective - To reconcile the
architectural image of the building with the surrounding development,
while maintaining architectural and historical
context of current district of Moscow.
The idea - To create an
image of the portal between reality and the world of illusions.
ARCHITECTURAL SOLUTION - - Spatial Frame
based on the volume of steel trusses tiled with light-permeable panels.
light
sources will be mounted inside the sistem of the bulk trusses, which will allow
to project a pattern
of trusses on the light-transmissive panel.
Inside
the space frame will be mounted a system of grid-based LED screens, which will
also serve a decorative role.
Turning
on the artistic illumination of facades of the cinema center and switching off
the LED screens will make the buliding look moir,
while acquiring the features of the virtual
object, but still retains its original shape.
On the
both sides along the main staircase are located boards with built-in LCD
screens,
displaying a non-stop screenings of last year
winners of the Moscow Film Festival.
