The clients came to Vertical Arts wanting an overall re-furnishing of their new home at the Porches in Steamboat, along with a new kitchen and dining layout. The inspiration for the palette came from an Americana theme and includes lots of reds, whites and blues while still maintaining a mountain flair. The furniture is rich and textured featuring a multitude of fur pillows, leathers and patterned fabrics. The new kitchen completely flips an outdated, dark room into a modern, roomy space for entertaining. The white cabinets lighten up the space and compliment the blue glass backsplash. A large 10-person table provides generous seating with a combination of chairs and banquette seats. Modern touches like new steel mantels, a steel range hood and updated railings provide the finishing touches.
