The pre-existence of the first floor used as a garage, its reduced dimensions and its powerful corner open to the landscape induced us to carry out the project in a logical and simple way. The staircase is placed on the outside, thus avoiding the loss of surface area of the floors, using it to mark the access to the apartments, as a discreet added object without disfiguring the main volume of the building.
The location of the water areas inside the dwellings frees up the facades, while providing light and views to the main rooms. The large corner and attic windows visually expand the reduced interior spaces and place the landscape as a backdrop. Traditional local materials were chosen to economize construction and integrate the building into its surroundings.
