A multi-use masterplan for a disused area of parkland next to the Lea Valley, Hackney, London. Utilising a grid of concrete core structures that act as the frame, servicing and lightwells of dwellings and commercial units; the scheme enables quick customisation and characterisation by its inhabitants.The groundscape also flows through from the neighbouring Victorian Park, hiding underground access roads and car-parking, and providing a grasscrete pedestrian friendly streets.
